AVANAVA

Tier A is intended as an open, non-commercial commons licence. It will allow individuals and groups to explore AVANAVA-linked concepts, tools, and prototypes for personal, educational, or community research use, provided that attribution and share-alike conditions are respected.

In its final form, this licence will be available as a signed public document. Users will not need to apply or activate access individually; instead, they will be able to download the signed licence and operate within its terms.

The final Tier A licence is expected to:

• Permit non-commercial use, study, and modification of released materials.
• Require attribution to AVANAVA and any named contributors.
• Require that derivatives or improvements are shared back under compatible terms.
• Exclude performance claims, medical guarantees, or commercial deployment.

Once published, a signed Tier A licence PDF will be linked here and from the main licensing pages. A checksum or signature verification method may also be provided so that users can confirm they are working from an authentic copy.

For projects that move beyond non-commercial use, or for institutional work, Tier B (Lab / Academic) or Tier C (Commercial) licences will be more appropriate. These can be activated via the Activate Licence page.
